Pala's roots go deep into the land of Sardinia. In these areas so full of tradition, silences and solitude, in Serdiana, Salvatore Pala began this extraordinary adventure in 1950: an adventure which he continues today, even after handing the reins over to his son Mario.

Today the past advices from Salvatore Pala are reintrepreted thanks to the dynamism of Mario, who have been at the head of the business since 1995, transforming the winery and vineyards into a modern concern that is a point of reference for Sardinia's winegrowing industry.

vendemmia 2010Si aprono i lavori di vendemmia in casa Pala, è imminente infatti l'inizio di quella che si preannuncia una vendemmia avara di quantità ma di eccellente qualità.
Il clima,di questa annata insolitamente piovoso in primavera, cui è seguita un'estate con ottime escursioni termiche giorno/notte, sarà l'elemento principe per la grande qualità, da sempre perseguita e ricercata in casa Pala.
Le prime uve ad arrivare in cantina saranno quelle bianche dello chardonnay destinato al vino Entemari del quale, tra l'altro, l'azienda festeggia la decima vendemmia, insieme al Cannonau. Seguiranno tutte le varietà di uve rosse per concludere con il Nasco destinato al vino "Assoluto".

Case & Country, Gusto e Piaceri: Pala

la copertina di Case & Country in edicolaDaniele Cernilli, the most famous wine writer of Italy (is the editor of the Gambero Rosso magazine), dedicate an article to Pala and its wines on the June issue of "Case & Country (home and country) a magazine from Class dedicated to lifestyle, travel and coutry living.
More the one wine captured the journalist attention: the Nuragus "very good and of a great value", the Stellato "simply delicious", and the Entemari for the whites. For the reds the attention is for the Cannonau "excellent" and for the S'Arai a great body and strong red, perfect for lamb and suckling pig made with the traditional Sardinian way.
