About UsOur Story
Pala Estate was founded in Sardinia, Italy, in 1950 with the first harvest by Salvatore Pala.
The tradition continues today under the ownership of Lia Tolaini-Banville and her family. The Pala team; Severino Concu, Amalia Dessì, Alessandro Pedini and Giandomenico Zedde, share the vision of producing the highest quality, most authentic wines possible that reflect the terroir of Serdiana.
“As a winery owner, I have always believed that great wines begin with a deep connection to the land. That’s why I’ve chosen to champion the rich, untamed terroir of Sardegna—an island whose vines have been nurtured by centuries of history and tradition. It is here, amidst the rugged landscapes and the Mediterranean climate, that I’ve found a place unlike any other—one that not only produces exceptional wines but tells the story of a unique island, its people, and its heritage. This is a dream that has been in the making for over 10 years; to produce wines that are made from these world class indigenous varietals and to represent the land of Sardegna on the world stage.“ – Lia Tolaini-Banville
