Perlia Nuragus

PERLIA
Nuragus di Cagliari

Denominazione di Origine Controllata

Perlia is a tribute to the Nuragus grape, Sardinia’s oldest variety, cultivated since the time of the Nuragic civilization (ca. 1800 BC, 3500 years ago). A meticulous selection from the Su Stani Saliu vineyard, Perlia represents a new level of elegance and expression for this historic varietal.

Grape Varieties: 100% Nuragus

Vineyard Site: “Su Stani Saliu” (Serdiana)

Altitude: 180m ASL

Vineyard Age: 45 years

Soil: Sandy with calcareous components

Cellar Notes: Harvested in the early morning to preserve freshness, the grapes are hand-selected in four separate passes for optimal ripeness. Fermentation occurs in 1,000-liter French oak barrels with native yeasts at low temperatures. The wine ages for 6 months in wood on fine lees with regular bâtonnage.

Tasting Notes: Pale golden yellow with silvery hues. Refined nose of citrus blossom, green almond, and crushed stones. The palate is textured yet vibrant, with notes of white peach, saline minerality, and a long, graceful finish. A rare and noble expression of Nuragus.
