I FIORI SARDEGNA NURAGUS DI CAGLIARI D.O.C.Grapes - Nuragus 100%.
Vineyards and method of cultivation - Vineyard "Acquasassa" (Serdiana) and "Is Crabilis" (Ussana); low espalier, traditional sapling.
Age of vineyard - 20/25 years.
Crop production - 90/100 quintals to the hectare.
Soil Type - Calcium clay poor in texture in medium hills, 150/180 m. above sea level.
Vinification, Refinement - After a first cleaning and the addition of selected yeasts, the squeezed grapes juice is fermented in vats of stainless steel and at a constant temperature of 15° C. When the fermentation is complete, after a light clarification, it is allowed to rest for a few more months in the stainless steel vats, after which the bottling can proceed.
Tasting - It is a pale straw colour with streaks of greenish reflections. It's perfume is delicately fruity of a good intensity and persistence. There are a fresh vegetable notes.
The taste is fresh and of a good intensity and acidity. It's olfactory taste is of a good persistence.
Suggestions for use - Non fatty fish starters, soup with shellfish, boiled fish and lightly seasoned foods.
Serve at 10/12° C. uncorking at the moment of decanting.
